    Inactive Security Clearances

    Guess this is a good spot to ask this. I had a Secret clearance that was eventually upgraded to TS/SCI then w/polygraph throughout my military career. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to secure a cleared position after seperating from the Army so I’m assuming my clearances became inactive after 2 years for TS and 10 years for Secret. Are there companies that are willing to hire individuals with inactive clearances and eventually make them active again? I heard through my Booz Allen network companies may hire personnel for OSINT or other analytical duties and then once proven they will initiate clearances if the position requires it. Any insight on that?
